Description Elementary 1:Ability: All levelsDescription: We use 36-foot court (half court) with 27 inch nets and your child will need a 23-inch racquet (a 21-inch racquet may be okay based on their size). Any racquet 25 inches or bigger has a frame/sweet spot too big for the court and may be difficult to maneuver for many players of that age. You can find a 23 inch racquet wherever sporting equipment is sold for roughly $15-$25 or you can ask Coach Blackburn to buy a brand new one from him for $20. Each clinic we begin with hand-eye coordination warm-up with stretching fitness and relay races. We will continue with our stroke or concept of the day and apply it in a game or drill. If we have listened to directions and kept our listening ears on (or close enough) we will finish class with a fun game.2025 Spring Session- Tennis Clinics Session Dates: - 6 weeks: March 24th through May 24th (No Skip Dates) We would need at least 48 hour notice if you have to cancel.
