Exploration Through Painting (Acrylic & Oil) Painting to explore
ideas, sense of self, and the world in which we live. A class space
where participants feel safe to experiment and express their values
and beliefs through acrylic and oil paints. The drying time associated
with oils encourages artists to have multiple canvases working. Class
includes a flexible syllabus. 6-week course, meeting twice a week, 12
classes in total for only $30 Focuses Oils: Using pallet knives,
mixing oils, shapes and texture, blending, different brush strokes,
layering, and movement Acrylics: Use of graphite paper, basic colors,
darkness, light and angles Limited to 15 students Arts, in practice,
assist in the development and the expression of positive
self-identification. These courses look to celebrate the differences,
pride, and self-acceptance of whom our students are. Classes for
adults 17+ Courses adaptable to needs Reputable instructors from our
local art community Build relationships and concrete skills to
continue to develop. Develop personal communication, organization, and
