Grizzlies Code Camp Online 2020 - Advanced Video Game Development

PREREQUISITE INTRODUCTION TO VIDEO GAME DEVELOPMENT USING CONSTRUCT 3 [https://www.eventbrite.com/e/grizzlies-code-camp-online-2020-introduction-to-video-game-development-using-construct-3-tickets-105280484764] OR HAS DONE EXTENSIVE GAME DESIGN USING CONSTRUCT 3 ENGINE OR ANY OTHER GAME DESIGN ENGINE OVERVIEW  This is an ADVANCED LEVEL CLASS RECOMMENDED FOR GRADES 5TH - 12th and a continuation of the previous intro game design class. It is assumed that students have already completed the intro course, so pacing for this class will be faster as a result. Students can expect to continue developing and designing their own exciting 2-D games in the Construct 3 [https://www.construct.net/en] environment! This course requires access to a laptop or desktop computer; if using a laptop, then a seperate mouse is highly recommended. CLASS DETAILS: * LEVEL: Advanced * START DATE: June 15, 2020 * END DATE: July 17, 2020 * MEETING TIMES: Monday, Wednesday and Friday 3:00pm -4:30pm * LOCATION: ONLINE (Zoom information will be shared after registration closes) * STUDENTS: Open to all students entering grades 5-12 SUPPORTED BROWSER  Construct 3 can run in the following browsers:  * Google Chrome 57+ Other browsers that use the Chrome browser engine (Chromium), such as Opera and Yandex, providing they are updated to Chromium 57+  * Firefox 55+  * Safari 11+  * Microsoft Edge 16+  * Construct 3 does not support Internet Explorer.
