Children and Teens between the ages of 5 - 19 are invited to join the
MEMPHIS CHAPTER OF JACK AND JILL OF AMERICA, Inc. at this free
CONFERENCE AS WE PRESENT MULTIPLE S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology,
Engineering, Arts and Math) Career Fields along with hands on
activities in the CLOUD901 Teen Learning Lab and throughout the
library for our younger registrants. One of our goals is to foster
FUTURE LEADERS. In order to help youth become FUTURE LEADERS, we would
like to expose the youth of MEMPHIS TO ALL OF THE MANY POSSIBILITIES
LIFE HAS TO OFFER, particularly in the areas of S.T.E.A.M. The
CLOUD901 is Memphis Public Library and Information Center’s
state-of-the-art social, creative, production, research and
performance technology lab where teens can develop 21st century skills
including innovation, collaboration, critical thinking and problem
solving. At 8,300 square feet, it’s one of the biggest (and
certainly one of the best) of its kind, providing access to
top-of-the-line technology and training to Memphis’s most valuable
resource: its youth.
Distinguished S.T.E.A.M. professionals will be on hand at the Career
Fair and participants will explore opportunities and demonstrations in
architecture, audio visual engineering, cinema, creative arts,
medicine, technology and more!.
In addition to exploring the S.T.E.A.M. Career Fair all participants
