MEMPHIS IS ME IS AN ANNUAL CELEBRATION OF THE MUSIC OF MEMPHIS AND THE
PRIDE OF THE COMMUNITY IN OUR MOST VALUABLE ASSET - people. Begun in
2010 with the vision of Daniel Harris of Fallen Walls International
and Ken Steorts of Visible Music College, MEMPHIS IS ME OCCURS EVERY
SECOND TO LAST FRIDAY IN AUGUST ON THE CAMPUS OF VISIBLE MUSIC COLLEGE
IN DOWNTOWN MEMPHIS. Madison Line Records runs the event, hires and
promotes local MEMPHIS MUSIC OF ALL STYLES. We invite people across
the region to come downtown for original music, and often bring in
artists from outside the city to celebrate with us the personality of
the greatest music city on earth.MEMPHIS IS ME SERVES AS A “back to
school” event for Visible Music College students from who move to
MEMPHIS FROM 50 STATES AND 30 COUNTRIES, a street festival for the
Madison Avenue Association members and residents, and a family event
for wholesome music to be shared in a large city downtown for families
and friends to enjoy musi together in community. We provide a show for
our community and a great, safe time in downtown MEMPHIS, and focus on
the community and the musicians from MEMPHIS WHO ALWAYS DESERVE OUR
SUPPORT AND DEVELOPMENT FOCUS. This year we are pleased to announce
