Memphis Innovation Bootcamp: Jobs To Be Done

Southern Growth Studio, a boutique consultancy based in Memphis with over 15 years of combined training experience, is proud to announce the 2020 Memphis Innovation Bootcamp (MIB), a series of 3-day, hands-on innovation bootcamps that equip professionals with the mentality and skill sets they need to anticipate and adapt to industry trends.

Our first Bootcamp will feature innovation through Jobs To Be Done (JTBD). An alternative approach to front-end innovation, JTBD is a group of principles that explore how to make marketing more effective and innovation more predictable by focusing on the notion that people buy products and services to complete a specific and highly personal “job.” In this workshop, participants will learn how to identify and activate customer or user “jobs” to better align marketing, development, and/or R+D with customer values and better segment markets. How can we offer better targeted products and services?

MIB is universal training – past participants have included anyone from HR to Business Development to IT from organizations like Cardinal Health, FedEx, International Paper, St. Jude ALSAC, and more. Professional growth is at the core of what we do.
