Stroke Clinic: Group Swim Lesson - Austin, TX 2025

Ages 6-12 years Stroke Clinic: Swim Team Readiness & Personal Water Safety Maximum 8 participants Each Course includes (8) 30-minute lessons Participants must demonstrate abilities from Level 4/5 and/or pass the exit skills assessment. Help participants refine their performance of all six swimming strokes: front crawl, back crawl, butterfly, breaststroke, elementary backstroke, and sidestroke. Help participants swim the strokes with greater efficiency and effectiveness over longer distances. Refine flip turns, open turns, and starting block entries. Introduction to survival swimming, HELP & Huddle positions. To pass this course, participants must be able to: 1. Swim 500 yards continuously using any 3 strokes, swimming at least 50 yards of each stroke. 2. Jump into deep water, perform a survival float for 5 minutes, roll onto back and perform a back float for 5 minutes. 3. Perform a feet first surface dive, retrieve an object from the bottom of the pool at a depth of 7 to 10 feet, return to the surface and return to the starting point. Location El Salido Pool Sessions 8
