No one at the NSA, CIA, FBI, DHS, Google, Facebook, Microsoft, or any other public or private organization will keep us safe on the Internet. Thats not because those organizations dont have smart peoplethey dobut because we, the public, are on the front lines, and its up to us. Greg will share a few numbers, war stories, and tactical and strategic cyber safety advice hes learned at the school of hard knocks.
Greg Scott is the author of Bullseye Breach and Virus Bomb, two novels that feature cybersecurity. Hes written columns for IT industry publications such as ENT Magazine, and Linux Enterprise Magazine. By day, Greg works for an enterprise software company. He earned a degree from Wabash College with a double major in math and speech. Later he earned an MBA from the University of St. Thomas. Greg resides with his wife, daughter, and grandkids in the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area.
