We had so much fun at this class in December, we had to offer it
again! For this class, we will be buiding end tables with recaimed wood
tops. Participants will learn to use pocket hole jigs to join and
power tools like a miter saw, sander and drill. Pocket hole joinery is
so versatile and super useful to learn!
About the B&B instructor: Lizzie has alway been a DIY-er. She got
interested in woodworking 8 years ago thanks to some badass women
sharing plans and advice on their blogs. The initial goal was just to
furnish her apartment on the cheap, but pretty soon she was working on
projects for friends and helping others complete their own furniture
projects. She loves to save materials from the trash pile, so most of
her projects incorporate reclaimed materials. Not only does she love
that it’s better for the earth, but also it gives her pieces extra
character. When Lizzie isn’t woodworking, you can find her in her
ceramic studio or selling at markets around town. In her free time she
enjoys rock climbing, making jewelry, and roadtripping with her dog.
*This class is for women and nonbinary makers interested in exploring
the basics of woodworking and power tools.
