over the course of six classes (Saturdays, March 14 - 28 and Sun.,

Gardening Series Schedule: Small-lot Landscape Design: March 14, 9 a.m
- noon Design for your own backyard or other relatively small spaces
(an acre or less). Series participants choose either Small-lot
Landscape Design or Large-scale Landscape Design. Maintenance: March
14, 1 - 4 p.m. Maintaining a native garden requires knowledge of plant
physiology, gardening tools, watering guidelines and other best
practices. Learn it all in this essential class. Large-scale Landscape
Design: March 15, 1 - 4 p.m. Learn to analyze a site and design
large-scale projects that can otherwise feel overwhelming. Series
participants choose either Small-lot Landscape Design or Large-scale
Landscape Design. Native Plants I: March 21, 9 a.m. - noon Identify
and learn about a variety of plants native to Central Texas, unique
growing characteristics of each and how to choose the right ones for a
garden. Installation: March 21, 1 - 4 p.m. Learn site preparation,
irrigation, planting best practices and mulch application for a
healthy garden. Native Plants II: March 28, 9 a.m. - noon Dig deeper
into the topic of Texas flora. Learn about native plants and where to
find them as well as resources to keep growing. Plants I is
