_Julie Slim is a multilingual vocalist known for her vocal
versatility. In addition to leading her quintet, RendezVous, Julie
is a vocalist with the Austin Jazz Workshop, touring the public
schools in concerts, and educating young minds about jazz. She also
collaborates with many local bands, notably, Atlas Maior, Oliver
Rajamani, Austin Troubadours, Indimaj and Bereket UT Middle Eastern
Ensemble. She is a member of Threshold Choir, an international
organization that offers songs for the elderly and people on the
