Intermediate Wheel -Throwing Larger (PM) - Fort Worth, TX 2026

Description This class does not qualify as an intro class for studio membership. Instructor: KAY BERNIER Throwing Larger: At least 6 lbs. 3-week class This class will show different methods of throwing larger vessels. PROJECTS FOR THIS CLASS Platter, bowl/planter & vase. PREREQUISITE Must have basic wheel throwing skills: wedging, centering, pulling, shaping and trimming. BRING TO CLASS EACH WEEK: A 12-15 lb. of cone 6 clay with grog, hand tools (needle tool, sponge, firm and flexible ribs, scoring tool, wire cutter) and HAIR DRYER, HEAT GUN OR TORCH . WEEK 3: also bring calipers. SUGGESTIONS TO BRING TO EACH CLASS: 12" - 14" bats. An apron and/or towel. Bisque firing is included in this class. Arrange pick up with the instructor.
