This heartbreaking drama is based on the atrocities of a true story
about sixty nine African American boys that attended The Negro Boys
Industrial School in Wrightsville, Arkansas in 1959 at the peak of
racism in America The reenactment that opens up a portal in history
allows us to witness the camouflaged murder of twenty one boys but the
system had designed a scheme to kill all sixty nine. This production
is supported in part by The Black Seed, a national project funded by
the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, in partnership with The Billie
Holiday Theatre, New York, New York. Professional Stage Reading
