Teacher Workshop with Amber Brown - Conservation Education Specialist, Texas Wildlife Association
The Texas Wildlife Association (TWA) strives to bring natural resource, conservation, and wildlife education into the classroom using innovative and quality techniques - all programs, whether a digital lesson, hands-on material, or educator-led activity, are engaging and offered at no cost! During the workshop, we will dive into the programs and variety of topics that TWA has to offer – which participants will be able to immediately incorporate into their teachings.
Through Texas Wildlife Association participants will be able to:
Invite a TWA Conservation Educator to your classroom and lead a hands-on soil activity
Sign up for our Critter Connections youth magazine and read about Texas’ ecoregions
Get your middle school students outside on private land with our Land, Water & Wildlife Expeditions program
Reserve a Discovery Trunk and have pelts and skulls delivered to your school
Take to the sky with Distance Learning programs about bats, turkeys, owls, falcons, and monarchs
Teacher workshop will take place on April 13 at 10:00. Participants must be present during the live webinar to receive CPE Credit.
A zoom link will be emailed to participants the morning of the workshop
