Virtual Bookish: I Always Loved You

Join US as we read Robin Oliveira’s_ I Always Loved You: A Novel _(2014). The young Mary Cassatt never thought moving to Paris after the Civil War to be an artist was going to be easy, but when, after a decade of work, her submission to the Paris Salon is rejected, Mary’s fierce determination wavers. Then one evening a friend introduces her to Edgar Degas and her life changes forever. Curator Maggie Adler will lead a tour through Zoom of the Mary Cassatt works in our collection. After the tour, we will discuss the book. Free, but reservations are required. Registration opens June 1.
