Light Painting Portrait Photography

Learn the creative world of light painted portraits!!

Utilizing long exposures and the Savage lighting products, create new colorful backgrounds for your studio portrait subjects. We will be blending long exposures both in the studio and outdoors with the lighting tools to color/freeze our subjects.

Audience

This is an intermediate level class. The students should have a grasp of putting their cameras into manual mode and adjusting shutter speed. The ideal student is a photographer looking for something different and creative to add to their portrait toolbox.

Schedule and Format

This will be a 3 hour class. The first 30 minutes will be introducing the concepts we will cover and how to operate the lighting tools. The next 2.5 hours will be students executing light painting portraits.

Minimum Enrollment

Each class needs a minimum number of students to enroll before the class can “make.” If the minimum enrollment has not been met two business days before the class begins, the class will be cancelled. All students who enrolled in the class will be notified by telephone or email, and may transfer to a different class or be issued a refund. We encourage all students to enroll as soon as registration begins.

Photos On The Vine is a local photography studio which also holds various types of photography classes from beginner classes to studio lighting.

Attendees can receive refund up to 1 day before event start date.
