OPPORTUNITIES FOR WIND AND SOLAR POWER IN TEXAS

As coal power plants close, wind and solar power are increasingly
replacing their output. Dr. Cohan will discuss his recently published
research that estimated emissions, health impacts, and economics of
coal power plants in Texas. He will also discuss the opportunities
for wind and solar power to play complementary roles in replacing
coal.
