Inventors and business professionals are asked to review the claims of
their patent application before it is filed. This step is THE critical
step that is supposed to ensure that the claims will protect their
invention. The decision you make here determines if you will be part
of the 97% of all PATENTS THAT NEVER RECOUP THE COST OF FILING
THEM. On April 9th, join Childs Patent Law at Station Houston for a
lunchtime workshop to help you determine which patent filing style,
timeline, budget, and loopholes you should be aware of. This workshop
is not designed to make you a patent attorney or to replace one.
Instead, this is intended to give you a general idea of what your
claims will cover so that when your patent attorney drafts your
claims, you can provide more informed feedback before approving your
patent application for filing.
This workshop will have a 10-minute presentation accompanied by
worksheets, followed by 1:1 coaching for up to a dozen companies with
William Childs Ph.D., J.D. Please note coaching sessions will be
first-come-first-serve basis based via Zoom chat.
THIS EVENT IS VIRTUAL AND A ZOOM LINK WILL BE EMAILED ON THE DAY OF
THE EVENT.
