Houston Golf Association (HGA) is nearing completion of restoring one of Houston’s greatest treasures – the historic Gus Wortham Park Golf Course. We need your help to raise the remaining $1.5 million to restore this 100-year-old site to its former glory. With Phase I of the Golf Course complete, this gem in the heart of the East End is already enhancing the quality of life for the community. An affordable public recreational amenity, Gus Wortham also offers youth development and educational opportunities through programming by HGA’s wholly-owned subsidiary The First Tee of Greater Houston. This event will help us finish Phase II of the restoration which includes: * New Club House with Community Space * Dedicated Space for Youth in The First Tee * Redesigned Entry and Parking * New Cart Barn * Short Game Area
