Website overview The 33rd anniversary of the Houston Art Car Parade
will be held Saturday, April 18, 2020. For the past 33 years, the City
of Houston has played host to the oldest and longest Art Car Parade in
the world - dazzling spectators each year with an incredible array of
mobile masterpieces, street performers, and art car fanatics.
Presented each year by The Orange Show Center for Visionary Art, the
Houston Art Car Weekend celebrates the artist in all of us. Bring the
entire family out to witness the magical, unbelievable and inspiring
as over 250 rolling works of art take over downtown Houston! Starting
on Friday, April 17th one Houston's wildest and most talked about
parties of the year, The Legendary Art Car Ball. The Art Car Ball
brings together art car enthusiasts, socialites, local celebrities and
the average joe for an incredible evening of live music, dancing, food
& drink, and of course Art Cars! Then on Saturday April 18th starting
at 2pm, the Houston Art Car Parade will roll! Line up along the road -
but get there early - to get the best views of all the cars. The
parade is free for everyone! VIPit Experience tickets are available
for those who prefer reserved, shaded seating and a delicious buffet
of food and drinks provided by local restaurants. map
