Hillshire Drop-Off Station Tour

Join US for a behind-the-scenes tour of the HILLSHIRE DROP-Off STATION ! Join US for a behind-the-scenes tour of the Hillshire Drop-off Station [https://fortworthtexas.gov/solidwaste/dropoff/], located in North Fort Worth. Drop-off STATIONS (DOS) are open to Fort Worth homeowners and some renters for disposal of trash, brush, recyclables, household chemicals and donated items. Subscribers of the Residential Composting Pilot [http://fortworthtexas.gov/solidwaste/compost/] can also bring food scraps to DOS locations. Attendees will meet at the DOS and take a short walking tour of DOS operations, led by station supervisor Mario Jacobo. Time will be allowed for Q&A. Please wear closed toe shoes, preferably with a low heel or flat sole. Weather permitting, parts of the tour will be outdoors. Children are welcome to attend the tour if accompanied by an adult parent or guardian.
