RUN THE ALAMO 13.1 HALF & ALAMO MARATHON, Sunday, March 8th, &/or the sweetest run in town, The Krispy Kreme ALAMO 3.1/6.2 Doughnut Dash, Saturday, March 7th. You will be treated to a festive & historic race event like no other. Experience scenic San Antonio as you've never seen it before in this fiercely independent run that honors our Alamo heroes. Enjoy the best swag around along with award winning finisher medals. Challenge yourself in our inaugural ALAMO DUEL and run BOTH DAYS and receive a coveted THIRD MEDAL!!! Your day will start with a multiple musket volley & LIVE CANNON BLAST just down the street from the historic cradle of liberty, The Alamo, as you pulsate past some of San Antonio’s best cultural icons on your way back to Hemisfair and an amazing post race party complete with hot baked potatoes with all the fixin's, yummy chicken, rice & beans, fresh fruit boat & ice chilled chocolate milk & cold Alamo Beer. Nueva inside HemisFair Park jsut east of S. Alamo 6:30: Final Instructions /Prayer / National Anthem 6:45: BOOM!!! Historic live CANNON BLAST & MULTIPLE Musket Volley START! Please make sure your bag is marked with your bib#. Bag Check location Hilton Pavilion at S.Alamo & E. Nueva. RACE DAY PARKING Federal Lot on Cesar Chavez just West of IH-37 before S. Alamo St. All street metered parking on streets north of The Alamo are FREE on Sundays. The City has parking garages at 240 E. Houston & at 400 N. Saint Mary’s that are only a few blocks from The Alamo with very reasonable rates as seen here: http://www.sanantonio.gov/ccdo/parking/parkingmap.aspx The COURSE We are excited to treat you to another EPIC Certified Course for what we believe to be one of the most scenic running courses around including ALL 5 World Class Missions for our Alamo 26.2 Marathoners. Our historic course takes in THE best that San Antonio has to offer; showcasing the cultural icons that reflect the wonder, charm and history of our glorious city & heritage. Course Time Limits: You will have plenty of time to complete the course with a 4 HOUR TIME LIMIT for THE ALAMO 13.1 HALF and 7 HOURS for The ALAMO MARATHON. We’ll have plenty of Aid Stations every 1 – 1.5 miles stocked with plenty of water & gatorade to replenish you. PACKET PICKUP & EXPO – Saturday, March 7th – Venue Villita – 11AM-6PM - San Antonio, TX. If you are picking up a packet for a friend or family member, you must have them SIGN THIS WAIVER and bring it with you in order to receive their packet.
