SMALL GROUP GUIDED READING ALLOWS TEACHERS TO PROVIDE CUSTOMIZED
SUPPORT WHILE GROUPING STUDENTS OF SIMILAR NEEDS. SMALL GROUP GUIDED
READING IS A HIGHLY ENGAGING WORKSHOP DESIGNED TO TEACH THE COMPONENTS
OF THE RESEARCH BASED MODEL OF INSTRUCTION (SGGR). At the end of the
workshop, teachers will be able to use the strategies for teaching
proficient readers and effectively implement the SMALL GROUP GUIDED
READING MODEL INTO THEIR LITERACY INSTRUCTION. The workshop will focus
on: the routine of SGGR, management, comprehension strategies,
questioning, using leveled text, and differentiation. **SEATS ARE
LIMITED**

WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE?
Doors open at 8:00 am and registration will be from 8-8:25 am. The
workshop will begin promptly at 8:30 am.
WHAT TIME IS LUNCH?
Lunch will be on your own from 11:30-12:45. On-site refrigerator and
microwave is available for participant usage.
WHAT ARE MY PARKING OPTIONS AT THE WORKSHOP?
The learning center provides parking free of charge.

DO I HAVE TO BRING MY PRINTED TICKET TO THE EVENT?
You can choose to print your ticket and bring it to the registration
table, or provide your e-ticket on your mobile device.

WHAT IS THE REFUND POLICY?
Refunds are not available. We can however, transfer your ticket to
