The Children’s Performing Arts Series at Stephen F. Austin State
University brings classroom favorite Super Scientific Circus back to
the SFA campus for two performances on Wednesday, March 7. Starring
Mr. Fish and Trent the Mime, Super Scientific Circus proves that
science can be fun and funny. Alternately assisted and foiled by the
comedic antics of Trent the Mime, Mr. Fish uses amazing circus skills
involving boomerangs, bubbles, beach balls, bull whips and magic to
introduce the principles of friction, inertia, centripetal force,
aerodynamics, sonic booms, air pressure and ultraviolet light. The
show is for all ages, kindergarten through twelfth grade. Performances
are at 9:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. in W.M. Turner Auditorium on the SFA
campus. Tickets are $7.50 for individuals and $6 per person for groups
of 20 or more. Tickets go on sale Aug. 14. To order tickets, call
(936) 468-6407 or (888) 240-ARTS. Visit the CPAS website at
www.cpas.sfasu.edu for additional information.
