Lifeguard Training Course with Waterpark (15 Yrs & Up) - Plano, TX 2026

Description This is an American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification class that will certify the participant in Waterpark Lifeguard Training, CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer, First Aid, Oxygen Administration, and Bloodborne Pathogen Training . ADDITIONAL INFORMATION The Lifeguard, First Aid, CPR, and Oxygen Administration are two year certifications and the Bloodborne Pathogen certification must be renewed each year. In order to participate in this class you must pass a pre-course which consists of two components: a swim-tread-swim sequence of 150 yard continuous swim using front crawl and/or breast stroke, treading water for two minutes using only your legs, and finishing with 50 more yards of the continuous swim; and a timed event which includes swimming 20 yards, picking up a 10 pound brick from the bottom of 7-10 feet of water and swimming it back to the side keeping both hands on the brick.
