Holi, the Hindu FESTIVAL OF COLORS, is recognized world-wide as a
major celebration of spring. In North Texas, Holi Mela – DALLAS
FESTIVAL OF COLORS IS THE LARGEST CELEBRATION OF ITS KIND. On
Saturday, March 4, the Holi Mela will celebrate its 13th year at
SOUTHFORK RANCH from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The FESTIVAL IS PRECEDED BY A
CELEBRATORY COLOR RUN WHICH BEGINS AT 9:30 a.m.Tickets for the
festival begin at $15. Tickets for children under 5, college students
with a valid student ID and adults over 65 are free. Additionally, a
variety of private cabana packages are available starting at $300.

This year promises to bring a wide array of dancers, drummers and
performers celebrating a diverse population. Additionally, dozens of
food vendors, local artisans and other local creative leaders can be
found across Southfork Ranch, where the event has been hosted for
eight years.
Holi Mela – Dallas Festival of Colors is the creation of Mystic
Mandala meditation and wellness center and its nonprofit, Human
Embrace. A portion of proceeds from the Color Run benefits the
community mission of these organizations, including support for
Hope’s Door and other organizations supporting women and children.
