Physical activity doesn't need to be complicated! Something as simple
as a daily brisk walk can help you live a healthier life. Walking is
extremely beneficial to the body, both physically and mentally, and
can play a large role in improving our overall wellness. The best part
about it, is that it is low impact and widely accessible. Spending
just 20 minutes a day in nature is proven to aid in reducing stress
and improving positive mental health as well, making daily outdoor
walks a key part of a healthy lifestyle. No matter your wellness
goals, setting a daily walking goal can help you in your progress.
Creating new habits takes time, which is why our team is challenging
you over the course of the next 30 days! Aim for a minimum of 7,500
steps a day and take one 20 minute walk outside up to 5 days each
week. There are several different ways to track your steps including
using an app on your smartphone or using a fitness watch of any kind
(Fitbit, AppleWatch, etc.). Download the app of your choice or strap
on your watch to get tracking! You can download or print out the
accountability calendar through the Harvest Green App to track your
