Bring your young toddler (ages 12–24 months) to the Amon Carter for
an art-filled experience! Engage with Lindsay Koss, early childhood
teacher, as she leads an art-making session inspired by the museum’s
collection.Artistic exploration can begin with the tiniest of hands.
The introduction of artistic mediums allows toddlers to discover
action, colors, textures, and to express themselves. Crayons, foam
sheets, markers, paper, stamps, texture boards and watercolors are a
few toddler friendly supplies that stimulate creativity while
developing fine motor skills and encourages cognitive development.
Making art combines a sensory and emotional experience that fosters a
passion for creative thinking and imagination!
