The TURKISH FESTIVAL AIMS AT COMPLEMENTING THE ALREADY RICH CULTURAL
DIVERSITY OF OUR CITY WHILE ALSO CULTIVATING A THEME OF RESPECT AND
UNDERSTANDING AMONG DIFFERENT CULTURES.The Festival is organized by
Raindrop Foundation and is free to attend and open to the public.
Get ready to eat delicious food and have the chance to taste authentic
Turkish Cuisine as the 9th Turkish Festival at the nationwide
historical and emblematic Alamo Plaza!! With a vast array of
performing arts, dance, family activities, delicious cuisine and arts
and crafts, there will be something for everyone to enjoy.
The art experience includes Water Marbling (Ebru), and Calligraphy.
Participants will have chance to taste mouth-watering food such as
Doner Kebab, Shish Kebab, Lahmajoun (Turkish Pizza), Icli Kofte
(Meatballs stuffed with cracked wheat), Gozleme (Turkish Style
Waffle), Manti (Turkish Dumplings), Baklava, Mezzes (Appetizers),
