first ROVER RODEO! We're returning to The Cherrity Bar
[https://cherritybar.com/] for this event where you can enjoy food,
drinks, dog vendors, dog training contests, and part of the proceeds
from each drink ticket sold will directly benefit THE CHERRITY BAR's
charities of the month. We'll also have our 2020 FIESTA MEDAL
AVAILABLE FOR SALE

with $1 from each medal supporting SNIPSA.
All tickets include:

1 beer, glass of wine, or cocktail from Cherrity Bar, with a portion
of drink ticket sales going straight back to Cherrity, who donates

We'll have three training games to test your pup's skills, with a
winning dog for each game.
Games include:

Day-of check-in will be from 3 - 3:45PM, and the Rover Rodeo contest
begins at 4PM.
Contest Rules:
* Contestants must register dog(s) online or in person before
contest begins and display their registration number (received at
check in) at all times
* Contestants can enter more than one dog in the games, but each dog
must be registered separately
* All dogs must be on leash during dog contest
* Dogs must be under voice control at all times
* Awards will be given for best performing dog in each of three dog
training games
* Contestants must arrive at competition site 15 minutes prior to
start time

**Egg-In-Spoon Game
Objective: Be the first to cross the finish line
The Game: Participants begin at the start line and cross when cued.
Participants must hold their dog's leash in the same hand as the
egg-in-spoon. If participants drop their egg-in-spoon while walking to
the finish line, they must stop, collect the egg, and put it back on
the spoon before continuing. The first duo to cross the finish line,
get their dog to sit and tap their dog on the head wins.
Behavior to work on: Loose Leash Walking
**Rover Relay Game
Objective: Be the first to cross the finish line
The Game: Participants will begin at the start line and cross when
cued. Participants will move to the first cone, perform the behaviors
listed then move to the next cone. The pattern continues until the
last cone. Once the behavior at the last cone is complete,
participants will cross the finish line, get their dog to sit, and tap
their dog on the head. The first duo to tap their dog on the head
wins.
Behaviors to Work On: Puppy Push Up's (sit, down, sit, down), Spin,
Shake, Touch
**Simon Says Game
Objective: Be the last team in the game
The Game: Participants must perform the behaviors the moderator calls
out, but only if the phrase "Simon Says" precedes the behavior. If a
team performs a behavior without being told "Simon Says", they will be
eliminated. If a team cannot perform a behavior, they will be
eliminated.
Behaviors to Work On: Sit, Down, Spin, Touch, Shake
