user to carry and use an expandable or straight baton. Baton Pocket
Cards are not required. Keep a copy of your training certificate for
proof of training. COMPLETING THIS COURSE WILL TEACH YOU -Basic baton
techniques -Tactics -Blocks -Strikes necessary to successfully deploy
the baton WHO IS THE COURSE FOR The State of Texas does not have a
statuary requirement to be trained before carrying a baton. A Person
has little chance (in our opinion) of surviving liability lawsuits
without training and a baton-use policy; this course satisfies that
