Learn foraging skills and discover the native plants that are safe for your plate, such as prickly pear and Texas persimmon, on this identifying and harvesting tour with an expert. This class is offered Saturdays, March 14 and April 11, 9 a.m. – noon Space is limited and registration is required. Register: March 14 Register: April 11 $25 per person (one session)Members receive discounts on registration. Learn about membership here.  Eric Knight Instructor Eric Knight was raised as a naturalist in Austin and has taught classes on edible and useful plants at the Austin Nature & Science Center and Earth Native Wilderness School. He studied herbalism at the Wildflower School of Botanical Medicine. He is co-founder and owner at Local Leaf where he wild-harvests, brews and bottles yaupon tea.
