What's Strings in the Woods [https://youtu.be/0FyEo6t_3UA]
Henri Herbert is a piano-playing phenomenon, and definitely one of the
most sought after boogie woogie blues piano men in the world. ... Born
in France, and raised in the UK, at an early age he was drawn to
records made by the piano-pounding pioneers Jerry Lee Lewis and Albert
Ammons.
ABOUT YOUR HOST WILL TAYLOR
Nature and Music are my passion. I'm a lover of the outdoors and the
magic of bringing people into nature for life-changing moments of
connection and musical bliss. As an Austin Native and naturalist I
know secret wild spots and stories about Austin that most don't. As an
Austin Music Awards Winner, I've been a professional violinist and
Austin music icon for over 20 years, jamming with folks such as Willie
Nelson, Pearl Jam, Gary Clark Jr., Shawn Colvin, Shiny Ribs, Guy
Forsyth, the Turtle Island String Quartet at Town Hall in New York
City or you may have heard my music on the season finale of The
Office. You can learn more about me at StringsAttached.org,
StringsintheWoods.com and about my love of community outreach through

WHAT WE’LL DO
Picnics welcome.
I'll take you on the only fiddle accompanied nature and acoustic music
immersion experience currently in Austin and at the conclusion you'll
hear a concert with pianist Henri Herbert.
REVIEWS:
We had a very unique experience and ended up with a private date with
the pair of hosts. We got to know each other and loved the led
meditation and private concert. We loved the music, as we are music
lovers and the knowledge of nature during the hike. We brought our
little pups along and they were very understanding and accomodating,
stopping for rest and water and even brought us to a spot they could
take a quick dip to cool off in the water. We loved it and recommend
to others. It was a nice date night trying something new and
different. - Missy
This was a unique and special trip through time and nature, away from
the hustle and bustle of automobiles and ever present screen
proliferation. It is a very beautiful park in itself, but even better
when you add the wonderful music, in a timeless retreat from now to
any point in history with string music, you lose track of time and get
closer to nature. Will and Karen were great guides, knowledgeable and
thoughtful, and very talented. - Vernon
Will took us on a musical journey in nature that was incredible and
therapeutic. We had a small group and hiked along a trail that was
fairly leveled due to one of the hiker’s physical condition. Along
the way Will made sure all of us were taken care of and having a good
time. We were later joined by another amazing musician/cellist
Charles. The only downside to this trip is that whenever I’m hiking
now I miss Will and his gang of musicians. I’ve been spoiled. Next
time I will bring my teenage kids. - Cassandra
