Historic Tyler on Tour

Since its founding in 1977, HISTORIC TYLER HAS PROMOTED THE PRESERVATION AND APPRECIATION OF THE CITY'S ARCHITECTURAL AND CULTURAL HISTORY THROUGH ADVOCACY, education, and committed action. HISTORIC TYLER, a non-profit organization, keeps a close watch on our HISTORIC HOMES, structures, and sites. These HISTORICAL TREASURES EMBODY THE CHARM THAT CHARACTERIZES TYLER, Texas.  Our largest fundraiser is Historic Tyler on Tour, which takes place each spring during the Azalea Trails. The theme this year is "Small Town, Big History." We will feature six homes; each house varies in architectural style and has a story to tell. Historic Tyler on Tour is a great way to get a glimpse inside of some of Tyler's lovely historical treasures. Tyler might have a small-town feel, but it has a fascinating history to discover.
