Artist Jim Mangan will discuss The Crick, his photographic series documenting FLDS young men along the Utah-Arizona border town of Short Creek, followed by a conversation with writer Judith Freeman and Short Creek community member Roman Bateman about how Mangan’s photography and Freeman’s written storytelling illuminate both realities and imagined stories of this marginalized part of the contemporary American West.
