Orangetheory Fitness, hailed by The New York Times as “the best one-hour workout in the country,” is taking over Chicago with their one-hour group personal training workouts designed to keep people burning calories for up to 36 hours. Their heart-rate monitored, high-intensity workout is scientifically designed to keep heart rates in a target zone that spikes metabolism and increases energy, also known as the “afterburn.” The Orangetheory Fitness South Loop Location, 1005 S. State Street, is partnering with the charity organization Brunch x Burn, a pop-up fitness experience that partners with hot brunch spots and fitness studios, to host a special event on Saturday, November 18. The morning/afternoon will include two opportunities to sweat with the Orangetheory trainers, brunch, refreshments, a photo booth, braid bar, and more. Tickets are $50 and proceeds will go to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
