Since 1968, the Public Lands Council (PLC) has actively represented
the cattle and sheep producers who hold public lands grazing permits.
The PLC advocates for these western ranchers who preserve our
nation’s natural resources while providing vital food and fiber to
the nation and the world. Today, more than 22,000 public land ranchers
maintain 250 million acres of U.S. public land. The PLC Annual Meeting
is an opportunity for these ranchers to gather and discuss the
legislative and regulatory issues that affect their business, and
hear from government officials, policy decision makers, and livestock
industry leaders. This meeting is especially significant as we are
