Nook: a corner or recess, especially one offering seclusion or security, often intentionally created. Cranny: a small, narrow space or opening that arises naturally or accidentally.
Into these recesses we stuff, hide, and save things, get cozy, daydream, reconnect with childhood memories. This show explores nooks and crannies, using a variety of dimensions and media.
Featuring work by: Joni Clemons, Ruth Coppersmith, Gabrielle Dietzel, Nel Emlen, Diane Fitch, Tracey Hambleton, Marjorie Merena, Juliana and Simon Jennings, Karen Kane, Janet MacLeod.
The show continues through February 15 in the gallery upstairs above the Adamant Co-op.
The gallery is open during Co-op hours: 8am-6pm on weekdays, 9-3 on Saturdays, 10-1 on Sundays.
