Empty Bowls Fundraiser for Good Samaritan Haven

The Mud Studio, in collabora tion with Blockhouse Studio, is once again hosting an Empty Bowls fundraiser, and this year proceeds benefit Good Sam! 

Attendees get to choose (and take home!) a handcrafted ceramic bowl made by talented local artists and have it filled with soup donated by local restaurants and community members. Bread, cheese, and dessert will accompany the meal. 

There will also be live music, an online auction, and a cash bar.

Event Date: Sunday, April 13, with seatings from 4-6:00 PM and 6-8:00 PM

Location: Zenbarn, 179 G uptil Road, Waterbury Center, VT 05677 

“I am really happy we have so much community and business support to put on this event again for its 8th year,” said Mike Sullivan, owner of The Mud Studio. “Sharing these beautiful bowls has become a wonderful tradition for the studio and its artists. We are happy to have a way to help Good Samaritan Haven continue their very needed mission in central Vermont.”

In conjunction with the Empty Bowls Benefit, there is a silent auction with donated art and ceramics from local artists, local products & services, and gift certificates to local businesses.

The auction will be live online beginning April 4 at 12:00 PM and bidding will close on April 14 at 12:00 PM. Physical items will be on display at Zenbarn. Auction items can be viewed here.
