RETENTION SHOOTING FOR THE ARMED CITIZEN — ADVANCED PISTOL (6 hours)
Push your skill ceiling. This is not a static clinic, it’s an
intense, all-range, hands-on evolution of your defensive PISTOL WORK
DESIGNED FOR THE ARMED CITIZEN WHO TRAINS WITH PURPOSE. Over six
high-energy hours at Ares Training Facility you’ll move, think, and
shoot like you would in a critical incident. What you’ll do and
learn • From fundamentals to fury: Quick refresh of defensive
SHOOTING BASICS, then immediately build into dynamic stress-SHOOTING
DRILLS. • PRECISION RETENTION UNDER PRESSURE: Learn and apply
RETENTION-oriented grips and transitions that keep your gun where it
belongs when the fight goes chaotic. • Multiple-target engagement:
Engage several threats quickly and accurately while learning to look
in front of and around targets, increase situational awareness without
sacrificing hits. • Movement is mandatory: This is a physical course
, you’ll move up and down the range, shoot on the move, and practice
realistic repositioning and cover work. • Stress training: Timed,
high-adrenaline scenarios that force you to apply skills under
pressure and build resilient muscle memory. Logistics & requirements
• Location: Ares Training Facility • Duration: 6 hours — ALL
range time • Gear you must bring: Outside-the-waistband (OWB)
holster, minimum three magazines and magazine holders. • Ammunition:
Minimum 300 rounds required. • Rentals: Firearms and holsters
available to rent first come, first served. • Recommended: Prior
completion of basic defensive SHOOTING TRAINING OR EQUIVALENT
