---Instructor: JohnPaul Schutz---The Troupes Design & Technical Track
is a fully immersive design and production management experience, as
the students serve as the designers, producers, stage managers, and
run crew for The Troupes production. They will learn the ins and outs
of each backstage position and how to let the script guide the design
process. The session will include consultations by professionals in
the field, to include Eli Banks (former Props Master for Stranger
Things), Tim Kottyan (Scene Shop Supervisor, North Carolina School of
the Arts), and Janine McCabe (Costume Designer and the current Chair
of the College of Charlestons Department of Theatre and Dance). Design
& Technical members of Troupe are welcome (and encouraged) to attend
The Troupes Actor Track regular rehearsals in their technical theatre
capacities. Students may register for both the Design & Technical and
Actor Tracks, but only eligible for casting if registered for the
latter. No class August 7. This class is for fully vaccinated
students. All enrollees must be fully vaccinated and show proof of
vaccination to the instructor at the first class. Masks and social
