WORK.PUMP.REPEAT & THE ART OF PUMPING---based on feedback we are offering a COMBINATION class offering the logistics of returning to work and the art of PUMPING. In this powerhouse combo class, learn the tips, tricks, and shortcuts to a smooth and successful return to work.  To help you prepare and survive the transition back to work, we will cover: * When to start pumping and storing your milk * Wardrobe considerations * Preparing you and your baby for daycare * How much milk to send * Working with daycare on schedules * Time-management tips to get you out the door * Sample pump schedules at work * Logistical ideas for pumping at work  * Time-saving strategies  * Solutions for work travel and pumping on the go * Huge photo library of lactation spaces in and around DC The second half of the class focuses on the art of pumping. We will talk about: * Buttons, dials and timers: making the most of the settings on your pump * Tubes, membranes and valves (when to wash, when to toss) * Flange fit * Tubes, membranes and valves: care and maintenance * How to get the most milk in the shortest time possible * Milk storage tips and tricks  Babies are welcome. Bring a mat or blanket on which your little one can stretch out. Food and snacks are permitted. Handouts and slides will be provided.  _An optional add-on session is available for hands-on help, from Susan. _ FLANGE FITTING AND BEYOND: * Try different size flanges to find the perfect fit for you. * Work on finessing your pump settings. * Learn to master hand expression.
