NATIONAL CHAMBER ENSEMBLE'S "Musical Adventures Through The Time
Machine"(Time Machine included) Season continues on to the the
Classical period. With it's growing emphasis on the melody was the
period where composers could let their imaginations run free in a
quest for balance between reason and emotion. Experience the musical
times obsessed with clarity, charm, balance and form, and the genius
of the three masters all working in Vienna: Joseph Haydn, Wolfgang
Amadeus Mozart and Ludwig van Beethoven.
On the program: Haydn's Piano Trio No.39 in G Major "Gypsy", Mozart's
Sonata for Violin and Piano No. 32 in B flat Major K. 454, and
Beethoven's Piano Trio Op.70 "Ghost."
Joining violinist/artistic director Leo Sushansky will be cellist Sean
Neidlinger and pianist Carlos Cesar Rodriguez.
This season each concert visits a different period in musical history.
Experience the music of the great Classical Era composers in a program
showcasing some of their best works. Enjoy NCE artists sharing humor,
stories and personal perceptions on the music.
The performance will be followed by a reception with the artists.
