Living Mindfully with Life's Challenges Workshop - January 19th 3:30-5:30 pm Monthly Focus: Gratitude and Compassion It is a gift to recognize that life is full of joys and challenges including the changing circumstances that each day brings. Mindfulness meditation in the evidenced-based tradition is clinically proven to activate the calming response in our bodies and minds and increase overall well-being. Whether you have a stressful job and commute or are in a transition such a divorce, a health challenge, grief, change of jobs, care taking for aging parents or caring for children with special needs...mindfulness meditation is a resource that can make a tremendous difference in your life. We will be using practices from Palouse Mindfulness palousemindfulness.org that originated with Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction - University of Massachusetts Medical Center. During the monthly Living Mindfully with Life's Challenges workshop you will experience: Mindfulness Meditation practices Chair Yoga Self-reflection Community sharing (optional) Supportive community A monthly theme focus with resources to take with you Imagine Well Being is grateful to provide mindfulness classes, yoga, nature and soul events, inter-spiritual gatherings and meditative workshops and retreats in our community and region.
