Monthly Focus: Gratitude and Compassion
It is a gift to recognize that life is full of joys and challenges
including the changing circumstances that each day brings. Mindfulness
meditation in the evidenced-based tradition is clinically proven to
activate the calming response in our bodies and minds and increase
overall well-being.
Whether you have a stressful job and commute or are in a transition
such a divorce, a health challenge, grief, change of jobs, care taking
for aging parents or caring for children with special
needs...mindfulness meditation is a resource that can make a
tremendous difference in your life.
We will be using practices from Palouse Mindfulness
palousemindfulness.org that originated with Mindfulness Based Stress
Reduction - University of Massachusetts Medical Center.
During the monthly Living Mindfully with Life's Challenges workshop
you will experience:

Chair Yoga
Self-reflection

A monthly theme focus with resources to take with you
