Our Learn to Shoot safety class takes non-shooters and beginners through the basics of learning to handle a shotgun and getting range ready. This class is offered on Saturdays and Sundays at 9:45am, 11:30am, 1:15pm, and 3:00pm. The Learn to Shoot safety class covers range safety rules and etiquette, safe handling of a shotgun, preparing to shoot, stance, and shooting clay targets. Each class accommodates six people and pre-registration is strongly recommended, as we cannot guarantee walk-in space. The class costs $45 per person and last about one hour and fifteen minutes. All equipment is included except eye protection. Acceptable eye protection includes safety glasses, prescription glasses, and sunglasses. Safety glasses can be purchased at the Pro Shop for $6 if needed. The class is open to everyone age 12 and up. Come dressed for the weather and ready to have some fun! ------------------------- *** No Refunds or Cancellations Within Two Days of Class Time *** Our Learn to Shoot safety class is required for all customers who have never shot shotguns before. This class is offered four times per day every Saturday and Sunday and is open to everyone ages 12 and up. Students 12 through 17 years of age must always be accompanied by an adult or guardian. The guardian does not have to participate but must be present at all times. In the class you will cover:* Range safety and etiquette* Safely handling the shotgun* Preparing to shoot* Hitting targets! This class is outside all year, so please dress for the weather. We suggest closed-toe shoes and no tank tops. *** Please Remember to Bring Eye Protection, As Safety Glasses Are Not Included *** This class is great for friends, couples, bachelor/bachelorette parties, birthday parties and folks just looking for an introduction into shooting sports. Once you pass the class you get a coupon for a free shotgun rental plus two buy-one game/get-one game free coupons. This is a $37 savings! The cost of this class is $45 per person.
