Registration Dates in details. Spend spring break for a unique camp
experience to help kids get moving and grooving! Daily activities are
presented as informal, non-performance-oriented musical
experiences--developmentally appropriate for 4 to 7 years of age.
(Please register the child.) This is a 5-Day program Monday - Friday.
Children will make music and find rhythm as they: • Learn
multicultural drumming patterns • Develop new repertoire on various
percussion instruments • Explore movement and dance while singing
songs and using scarf play • Play games based on music and drumming
• Enjoy age-appropriate ways to play rhythm instruments such as
shakers, sticks, tambourines, etc. • Explore traditional drumming
patterns and learn about different cultures around the world This camp
is made possible thanks to a grant from the Virginia Foundation for
Healthy Youth. VFHY funding provides infrastructure support to build
and sustain Healthy Communities Action Teams (HCATs). These community
collaboratives drive long-term policy, systems and environmental (PSE)
changes that support at least one of eight healthy behaviors that
prevent and reduce childhood obesity. Attendance of the first class is
mandatory to participate in camp week. Location Culpeper County
