Remember your favorite stories as a child? The faraway lands, perilous journeys with magical characters and fantastic creatures? The Fairy Tales Around the World art exhibit at Del Ray Artisans gallery celebrates the stories and fables that shaped us, from local legends to distant tales, from mythical beasts to heroes, villains and everyone in between.

Draw your Fairy Home in the Forest (for children ages 6-12 years old) on Saturday, March 8, 10am-12pm

Unleash Your Creativity: Acrylic Painting Class (for adults) on Thursday, March 13, 6-8pm

Create a unique 3-D Paper Maché Fairy Tale Character (for teens 16+ years old and adults) on Fridays, March 14 and March 21, 6pm-9pm

Craft a fairy tale inspired Paper Maché Wall Hanging (for children ages 9-15 years old) on Saturdays, March 22 & March 29, 10am-1pm

The Fairy Tales Around the World art exhibit runs March 7–29, 2025 at Del Ray Artisans gallery in the Colasanto Center, 2704 Mount Vernon Avenue, Alexandria, Virginia 22301. Gallery hours are Thursday 12-6pm, Friday 12-9pm, Saturday 12-6pm, and Sunday 12-6pm (closed on March 2 and March 30).
