Backyard Chickens Workshop

This will be a recurring two-part work shop series. Come out to our farm bright and early and learn how to go from a live pasture-raised chicken to chicken noodle soup, with all the steps in between from 9am-12pm. We will also go over meat chicken economics on a small scale and where to find good local sources of meat, lunch will be provided.From 12:30pm-3:30pm we will host a build-your-own coop workshop. We provide lumber, tools, hardware and guidance. You get a small chicken coop to take home, big enough for up to 12 chickens, starter feed and baby chicks. Great family weekend project!
