The annual COLLABORATIONS CONFERENCE BRINGS TOGETHER REHABILITATION
PROFESSIONALS, educators and advocates for the purpose of enhancing
services that lead to successful employment and quality
community-based services for individuals with disabilities. This
year's theme "_IT STARTS WITH US!_" challenges all of us to stretch
our imaginations and think "outside of the box" to implement evolving
public policy changes so that we can unlock each others potential as
well as the potential of individuals with disabilities that we
serve.
The Collaborations Conference is a joint conference hosted by a
partnership between the Virginia Rehabilitation Association (VRA),
the Virginia Association of Community Rehabilitation Programs
(vaACCSES) and the Virginia Association of Persons Supporting
Employment First (VA-APSE). The only one of its kind in the country.
This year's agenda is packed with exciting learning sessions and
excellent networking opportunities. We hope these opportunities and
tools will inspire participants to transform Virginia into a leader in
the provision of quality community-based services. Attendees include
state and local public and private providers of community-based
services, private not-for-profit providers, school transition
professionals, local CSB providers, AbilityOne providers, mental
health service providers, OneStop workplace professionals, and
individuals with disabilities.

conference filled with best practice information, as well as
opportunities to renew and expand relationships with your public and
private sector peers.

IS MY REGISTRATION/TICKET TRANSFERRABLE?
Registration can be transferred into another attendee's name.
Deadline for changes is Friday, September 14, 2018. Changes can be
made on-line using your Eventbrite confirmation number provided in
your Eventbrite email registration confirmation. Instructions are
provided as part of the Eventbrite registration confirmation. You

Tefelski at ktefelski@vaaccses.org after Sept 14th.
CAN I UPDATE MY REGISTRATION INFORMATION?
Please follow the Eventbrite instructions included in your Eventbrite
registration confirmation email.
WHAT IS THE REFUND POLICY?
Cancellations must be received in writing or via email to
mmorrison@vaaccses.org by Friday, September 7, 2018 to qualify for a
refund on payments including purchase orders. After that date,
individuals and/or organizations will be responsible for
the registration. A $50 administration fee will be charged for each
registrant's cancellation with the balance of the registration fee
refunded. No-shows will be liable for registration costs and will be
billed if not already paid.
SPECIAL ACCOMMODATIONS?
Please email mmorrison@vaaccses.org for any special
accommodation/accessibility requests that you require (i.e.
interpreter, etc.) Note that requests must be in writing (email
accepted) and received by Friday, August 31, 2018 to ensure reasonable
availability of these services. After this date, special
accommodations can not be guaranteed.
CRC CREDITS AVAILABLE?
CRC credits will be available for persons attending the Collaborations
Conference 2018. Number of credits and the necessary forms will be
available at the conference.
