This tour will touch your mind, heart, and belly.  Join Bike and Brunch Tours [http://www.bikeandbrunchtours.com]for a ride through neighborhoods steeped in culture and history.  This tour will focus on Jackson Ward, Brookland Park, sites along the way, and the work of Hamilton Glass. [https://whosham.com/]  His murals help connect us to the stories of trailblazers, residents, and organizations behind or continuing the legacy within these communities.  Whether you are on a weekend getaway, local and looking for a new activity with friends, considering moving to the city, or just want to get out, join us. You will be sure to leave satisfied, with a new friend or two, and stories to tell.This ride includes landmarks and murals. All of these stops offer a reminder of the history, culture, and legacies at the heart of Richmond. This one of a kind, easy pace, casual tour aims to exude positive vibes, treat our communities and the residents with respect, and nourish the mind and belly. Ride, see Richmond, have fun….and of course have brunch! FAQS START TIME: The ride will leave promptly at 10:00am. NO REFUNDS will be provided to those who miss the ride due to late arrival under any circumstance. WHAT TO WEAR: Feel free to be stylish as long as your fashions are bicycle ready and safe. Long scarves or fabrics that might easily tangle in the wheels or fall off are discouraged. Closed toe shoes are encouraged. TOUR LENGTH: The ride is slightly less than 10 miles and should take no more than 3 hours. Allow 1 1/2- 2 hours for BRUNCH. BRUNCH IS OPTIONAL. If you need to leave after the ride and can not join us for lunch, we understand, just let us know before the ride. THE TOUR: First, we will meet [https://goo.gl/maps/2uYDqLjRPWQ2] to allow those who need a rental to pick up their bikes (Station 03, Center Stage, 619 E. Grace Street).  We will then do a few introductions and jump on our bikes for the tour at 10:00am. After the ride we will move on to brunch. Both the brunch and ride should end by 3:00pm. Additional instructions about the meeting location will be provided once you make your reservation. BIKE RENTALS: You may use a private bike shop or RVA Bike Share [https://www.rvabikes.com/#how-it-works]. The ride starts at the RVA Bike Share stand [https://www.rvabikes.com/#full-map]. You may rent a bicycle there before the ride. Bikes are available on a first come first serve basis. The cost [https://www.rvabikes.com/#pricing]of bike share rentals are approximately $15 but may vary based on your re-docking time. Note that RVA Bike Share is a separate entity. We have no control over their equipment or pay systems. Parking is available on street and in a paid parking lot at 619 East Grace Street, RICHMOND, VA   WHAT'S THE REFUND POLICY? Refunds are allowed up to 7 days before the bike tour.   IS IT OK IF THE NAME ON MY TICKET OR REGISTRATION DOESN'T MATCH THE PERSON WHO ATTENDS?
